Newborn twins Huxlee and her brother William joined me in the studio last week to celebrate their arrival. Huxlee stole the spotlight from her brother as she slept the whole session and posed easily for her portraits. William wanted to stay awake but we finally managed to convince him to sleep and captured him dreaming in the end.

Sabrina and Nick celebrated their recent engagement with a cute ice fishing themed session at Hutcheson Beach in Huntsville.  It was a bitter cold day, but it did not stop this sweet couple from coming out and capturing this exciting time in their lives. Vintage touches and a warm Hudson’s Bay blanket were the perfect props for their romantic session.  Sabrina and Nick will be getting married this summer under the hot sun 😉

Jean and Dave are both avid hockey players so they really wanted to have their engagement shoot on the ice and include their beautiful golden retriever Tucker in these moments. The Emsdale outdoor rink was perfect location with its intimate outdoor rink, heritage centre and park grounds.  I can’t wait to see this incredible couple tie the knot this summer at their upcoming Hidden Valley Wedding in July.

A fun winter family session with the Thomson / Armstrong Family.

A bitter cold day did not stop the playing with this family! It may have been -10 but they were still eager to get out into the sunshine at the farm to go sleigh riding and capture their beautiful family. I can’t believe I photographed these growing little boys when they were only days old, and now here they are growing, walking and sleigh riding together with their family. Its an exiting year for this incredible family as the parents are getting married this summer as well!

Welcome baby Colman, just five days old. His father an avid hunter and fisherman, we of course had to incorporate that into his newborn session. Congratulations Les and Erin! Coleman’s adorable fishing hat, rod and pants were created by local artist Rebecca Dingman of Burk’s Falls.
